In January 2010, the Supreme Court of the United States ruled in the case Citizens United v. Federal Election Committee. That ruling has enabled corporations to spend unlimited amounts of money to influence elections. 

What this means is more than the perpetuation of an already corrupt system. It is unleashing a flood of corporate cash into elections, making our government even more under the control of the corporate sector, and less responsive to the citizens.

The Boston Amendment Action Group was formed to bring together citizens in the Boston area who are committed to supporting a reversal of the Citizens United ruling.
